My mom and I recently traveled to Tucson, AZ with her sister (my aunt) to visit their cousins. We had a magical time visiting the desert, taking in the local art scene and eating delicious home-cooked food. The rainbow of colors there - from the sandy yellow desert, to the purple and green cacti, to the blue and pink sunsets - were breathtaking. In this Southwest series, I explore the colors and feelings of the Southwest through representational and abstract paintings.
